A lovely cosy cottage, love the gleaming bedrooms, with the georgous views from the back across the fields to Asgrath falls. Carperby is central for very pleasant walks, and would recommend the village pub for a tasty meal when you return. We really enjoyed our fews days at Johnson Cottage. Pat & Brian Goole

A cosy well equipped cottage in the delightful village of Carperby within the National Park. Amazing views towards Aysgarth And excellent children's play are a few minutes walk away. No shop in village but garage at Aysgarth for basics. Excellent local pub serving good food and beer just across the road.

An absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Perfect for walking and exploring the gorgeous dales. Within minutes of setting out to walk through the fields to Aysgarth Falls, we'd had the pleasure of seeing deer and a pair of hunting barn owls. Can't wait to return to this lovely cosy property, whatever the weather!

We stayed in this delightful cottage at the beginning of June. It is very well equipped and well furnished and would be ideal for a family or friends wishing to holiday together. The beds are extremely comfortable, the views from the back of the cottage are amazing and the garden is secluded and quiet.
The lovely village of Carperby is an ideal location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and is in the midst of some of the most wonderful scenery in Yorkshire. If you are interested in walking, cycling or wildlife this is the place for you. Aysgarth Falls,, and Bolton Castle are just a short walk from the cottage and Leyburn, Hawes and the famous Wensleydale Creamery are just a short drive away.
After a day out exploring and visiting local antiques and craft shops enjoy an evening at the local pub the Wheatsheaf Inn which is just across the road and serves good food and real ales.
